I don't know anything about this one at present, not even a definite address, but luckily Clive Bowley sent me this photo showing the sign outside the premises and taken on 25 August 1960.

This was included in a list of Alfred Leney's tied houses, so much predate 1926.

Supplied by Alfred Leney Co Ltd, who bought out Thomas Walker's Phoenix Brewery in 1859 and registered as such in 1896, until bought out by Fremlin Brothers brewery of Maidstone in 1926, brewing at the Dover brewery ceased in 1927, which later passed to Whitbread.
