Only one reference found to this so far and that was an entry in the 1881 census. Where Charles Wady was described as being a Coal Dealer and Licensed Victualler.

I am informed that the premises was situated on a small strip of land situated behind Corporation Street and was classed as a beer house. The licensee sadly dying on the 9th September 1899, and I assume the premises with it.
