II am informed was still open in 1981 and had the nightclub called "Donuts" in the basement. Further information says it was previously called the "Harewood Hotel."

The nightclub has also been known as "Clouds", the "Traders Bar," then "Smiles", also "Pizzatheque" the towns first pizza restaurant, and later "Donuts", the upper levels becoming a doss-house in the 1980s, and is today (2025) known as Grantley Court.

The building is now flats, but it was a popular venue, a quick walk via Castle Street from the High Street behind. Before it became upmarket flats with a gate, it had been dingy flats where bikers would fix their motorbikes outside and people would always be hanging out of the windows, shouting at people on the street below.
