102-104 Albert Road North Woolwich
Locally known as the Cowshed, can be traced back to 1874. The pub was damaged in a 1944 air raid. The area around it was flattened but the pub remained defiantly upright. It continued to trade as a public house then became little more than a basic cafe. It was finally demolished around 1957 as the area was rebuilt into housing known as Albert Walk.
