Nothing known about this at present, apart from the map of 1897 which shows both the "Black Pig" and what Rory Kehoe says was the "Cock and Duck." It was located in what became/is now Curlew Cottages, Barnshole Road, Staple, it may have been an outlet for Tritton's Black Pig Brewery beers. Probably a short-lived 19th century beer house.
