Maidstone

I am not 100% sure regarding the validity of this one. I do not know of a village called Faringdon (with a "D") in the Maidstone area, although there is a Farington Close and haven't seen a pub with the name of "King and Queen" around Maidstone or close villages either.

From a book titled Quaint Signs of Olde Inns, by G. J. Monson-Fitzjohn, B.Sc. 1926.

KING & QUEEN, Faringdon, Maidstone, etc.

The signs of houses of this name vary according to local tradition and imagination. Edward I and his Queen, Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, William and Mary, have all appeared on signboards, but the most curious "King and Queen" shows Queen Victoria and her royal consort, the latter with an imperial crown upon his head.
