9 Agnes Street

Identified as an Off-license and operated by Fremlins. However, I do not know of an Agnes Road in Folkestoine, but there was an Off-Licence with the name of "Agnes," situated at 19 Broadmead Road.

The Brewery History Society website actually mentions both on the same page, but no one I have spoken to knows of an Agnes Street at all.

Supplied by Alfred Leney Co Ltd, who bought out Thomas Walker's Phoenix Brewery in 1859 and registered as such in 1896, until bought out by Fremlin Brothers brewery of Maidstone in 1926, brewing at the Dover brewery ceased in 1927, which later passed to Whitbread.
