Police attend Kent bar as 'disturbance involving group of people' breaks out. A man has been hurt.

Police investigating a disturbance at a bar in Folkestone are appealing for witnesses. Kent Police were called just after 9.30pm on Saturday (November 23) and it was reported that a disturbance had broken out between a small group of people at The Old Cigar and Olive on Rendezvous Street.

Kent Police said: "Officers attended and enquiries were carried out at the scene. A man, who reported sustaining injuries to his leg during the incident, attended a local hospital and has since been discharged to continue his recovery at home.

"An investigation is ongoing and anyone who has relevant information, including mobile phone footage, is urged to come forward."

Man suffers leg injuries after incident at The Old Cigar and Olive in Rendezvous Street, Folkestone.

A man suffered leg injuries during a disturbance at a town centre bar.

Police were called to The Old Cigar and Olive in Rendezvous Street, Folkestone, just after 9.30pm on Saturday, November 23.

It had been reported a disturbance broke out between a small group of people, and a man suffered injuries to his leg.

He went to a local hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or mobile phone footage to assist with the investigation.

A spokeswoman for the force said: “Witnesses should call 01843 222289 quoting 46/199340/24.

“Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete their online form.”
