This pub started off as the "White Bear," and operating as such as early as 1828. Latterly it has been operating as various restaurants over the years, previously as "Bar Zia. But then went under the name of "Tunbridge Wells Bar and Grill" but when that eventually folded the building was bought by brewers Youngs and reopened again as the "White Bear" again in July 2019.
