Only one instance of this found at present, and I do know of another "Dredgerman's Arms" situated in nearby Whitstable, however the licensee names don't tally.

From the Southeastern Gazette, 16 January 1866.

HERNE BAY. Complaint against an Innholder.

Francis Wanstead, keeper of the “Dredgerman’s Arms,” was charged before the county magistrates at Canterbury, on Saturday, with conducting his house in a disorderly manner.

Sergt. Gower, K.C.C., stated that on the night of the 6th inst.; he visited defendant’s house, and found a number of persons (amongst whom was a convicted thief), drunk, quarrelling, and fighting. The defendant took no notice of this conduct, but continued to supply the parties with intoxicating liquors. Frequent complaints were being made by residents there of the disorderly manner in which Wanstead conducted his house.

Fined 5s., costs 10s., and cautioned.
