Fire.

On Saturday morning last, between two and three o’clock, a fire was discovered at the “Eagle Tavern,” Union-street, Blue Town, occupied by Mrs. Moore, and before assistance could be rendered the house was completely gutted and the contents entirely destroyed. One of the inmates was obliged to get out on the window sill, and was rescued by means of a ladder. The military and the dockyard engines were in attendance; the house and furniture were insured.
