Hundert's Hotel

Above postcard, 1911.

Above Christmas menu from 1909.

Built in 1892 and run by Max Wilhelm Hundert, and situated next to the Pleasure Gardens in Bouverir Road West.

I am informed that by 1933 it was running under the name of the "Princes Hotel." This was purchased by the Orion Insurance Company (which stood on the Theatre side and is now the Police Station.)

The building was demolished in August 1976 and the site became an extension of the Orion's gardens.
