Just one mention of this so far, but I'm hoping later research will turn up more information regarding Tilden and Olding.

 

From an unknown paper 1771.

Seven pence per mile. Tilden, At the "George," Farnborough; and Olden, at the "King's Head," Tonbridge town Beg Leave to acquaint the Nobility, Gentry, and the Public in general, travelling from London to Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, and Rye, that Mr. Tilden will go to London from Farnborough with POST-CHAISES, and take up two Passengers at seven pence, and three at Nine-pence per Mile, and carry them to the "King's Head," Tonbridge Town.

Mr. Olding will take up at Tunbridge Wells, and proceed to Farnborough, or from Tonbridge or the Wells, to Stonecrouch, or Hawkhurst, in the Road to Rye and Hastings, on the same Terms. All other Accommodations in the genteelest manner, and at the most reasonable Rate; and every Favour will be thankfully received and greatly acknowledged, by their most humble servants.
