Above octagonal token dated 1669, showing a Griffin facing left. The name THOMAS HVTTON PEVTERER.

This is more than likely not a public house but just a shop such as a Jewelers who would be dealing in pewter, but could be a pub all the same. The Arms possibly being the Guild Crest and not Arms as is public house, but these tokens were popular for both types of establishments during the 17th century, and were used to pay for goods in the premises named.
