Above advert, circa 1913, kindly sent by Rory Kehoe. A photograph, presumably taken soon after a change of business ownership, which appeared on a publicity postcard. The new owner, Alfred Kemp, may have traded as a free house, offering Style & Winch's beers, or been a tenant of their nearby Medway Brewery.

Petty Sessions, Tuesday. Before the worshipful the Mayor (C. Ellis, jun., Esq.), and J. Clifford, Esq.

Beerhouse Information.

John Brand, landlord of the "Restaurant" beershop, Earl-street, fairly caught with his house open about 20 minutes to twelve, on Sunday, the 9th inst., by Inspector Sunnuck, was fined 20s., and 11s. costs, which he paid.
