1664 half-penny token of Jarvise Willmatt

Above showing both side of the half-penny token stamped IARVISE WILLMATT and dated 1664. Showing the image of a Horse.

Possibly a public house, location unknown. However, could also have been a Farrier, horse dealer.

The Arms shown could just be a Guild Crest and not Arms as is public house, as these tokens were popular for both types of establishments during the 17th century, and were used to pay for goods in the premises named.
