Whitfield

The "Whitfield Hotel" used to be on Sandwich Road, more or less opposite the "Royal Oak." It was a bit tatty but the bar could be fun! I think it became a care home in the late 1980s but was eventually demolished and the site redeveloped. Kindly sent by Rory Kehoe.

I am going to assume that as it was an hotel, normally you would have had to have been a resident or signed in guest to have a beer here.
