Custom House Quay.

Messrs Bradley Bros grain store was near to the old Custom House, and was built in 1864, on the site of a one time Brewery, that of Messrs Rutley, Coleman and Co, which was purchased and pulled down.

Pigot's directory 1823, 1824, 1828, 1832 & 1839 lists a Jeken, Coleman and Rutley operating at Brewhouse Quay, as does Bagshaw's of 1847, and this is obviously the same brewery.
