Another one from Rory Kehoe who says this is obviously showing Thomson and Sons draymen delivering to an as yet unknown hotel in the Deal area.

Michael Mirams to the rescue again who says this pub is the former "Ethelbert Hotel" in Ethelbert road in Margate. The public alley access between the pub and house is still there, and the pub ‘s frontage is unaltered. Also, it was a Charrington’s house, successor to Thompson’s.
