The above photograph, date unknown has been sent to me by Andy Turner, who has recently sent be quite a few photos from the Ashford, Rolvenden, Kennington and Waltham areas. But I am unsure where this one is.

He goes on to say the following:- I've drawn a blank on The Feathers. The Alton Ales sign suggested somewhere in Hampshire and I've looked at a few possible candidates online - there's one in Basingstoke for instance - but based on the images I've found, none seem to match this photo. But of course Courage sold beer way beyond the confines on Hampshire, so it could be almost anywhere. There's nothing to link it to Kent though - the postcard is in a different part of my parents' collection.

Debbi Birkin says it's not a Kent pub but today it's known as the "Plume of Feathers" in Crondale, Hampshire. So, unfortunately not one for my Kent list.
