Sussex Arms, location unknown.

I have just been sent this sign from a Wendy Waltert from Clinton in Iowa. She says she is clearing out her 93 year old great aunt's house who for 60 years ran a pawn brokers.

Personally I don't think this was a hanging sign from a pub, certainly not one in Kent, but if anyone has any ideas of the date 1720, I'd like to hear them.
