ROSE AND CROWN

Unknown location

The photograph was taken by someone in my fatherís family, Rose (motherís maiden name Shelvey, and her mother Swineherd) who were bakers in Walmer and Deal at the early part of the 1900ís. They always lived in and around Folkestone, Dover, River, Walmer and Deal so Iíve lots of photographs of them in different local areas.

Anne Chowne.

Thank to Steve Glover I think this one has been solved. It's the "Rose and Crown" in East Peckham. Michael Mirams also pointed this out to me as well and says when he went there in 1983 it definitely had a roof then.
