Cook Lane / 7 Potter Street Sandwich
Trading in Cook (Cok) Lane (now Potter's St.) in 1466.
This is where the Earl of Warwick's ship's Captains were entertained in 1466.
Janet and Keith Haines inform me that 7 Potter's Street can be traced back to the mid 1400s when the "Galliard" would have been open, and is the only house in that street going back to that date. A note they found in the Sandwich archives suggests that this house was once that pub.
