Deal Licensing Register on 8 September 1864 mentions this pub and then again in the 1865 Almanac showing Coleman as licensee. Although I have just found reference to it circa 1855 from a list of former pubs in Deal and Walmer kept at Deal library. Pikes listed it in 1908 as the "Locomotive Inn" 104 West Street. Later information gives it as 106.
Closed March 1963 when owned by Charingtons.
