TO BE SOLD BY AUCTION.
By Edward Rutter, Auctioneer, at the Dwelling House of Mr. Slade, the
sign of the "North Sea Boat", in Round Tower Street, Dover.
Sundry Goods, being part of the stock in trade of a Bankrupt, consisting
of the following articles, viz.,80 pieces of British Chintz, all wide,
for bed Furniture, each piece containing 23 yards, 40 pieces ditto, yard
wide ditto, solid silver, edged; four Goblets, ditto; six Snuffer
Stands; Four Fish Knives; Two Stands for Wax Tapers; two sets of
castors; one with seven, the other with eight Cruets; four Cream Jugs;
two Bread Baskets, solid silver, edged; one toast rack; one Cross and
Lamp for a Dish; three Waiters; three Cream Jugs, the inside gilt; two
Sauceboats; three Mustard pots; 24 Table Spoons; one Dozen Tea Caddy
ditto; two Coffee Pots; two Bottle Stands edged with silver; two
Sauceboats; one liquor Frame, solid silver, edged; two quart and two
pint Mugs; 36 pair Candlesticks of different sizes. A quantity of table
and desert Knives and Forks, mounted with plate, green and white ivory.
Together with a variety of Cottons and Linens for Gowns, &c. A number of
Stockings and Second-hand Clothes; all of which (the last mentioned
article excepted) are entirely new, and most fashionable patterns, with
many other articles not here inserted. The Sale to begin on Wednesday
the 14th instant, at two o'clock in the afternoon, and to continue till
all are sold. The Goods to be viewed the day preceding the sale.
