DOVER POLICE REPORT
Wednesday: Before Dr. Astley.
John Clark, a private of the Sussex Militia, was charged by
police-constable Bowles with being drunk in Biggin Street last night,
and indecently exposing himself. The constable said he saw Clark in the
street with only his socks on, and took him into custody. He was drunk.
His clothes were found on the pavement in York Street before he was
himself seen.
Fined 10s. and 9s. cost; and in default of payments he was committed
to prison for one month.
