BOROUGH AND LIBERTIES OF DOVER
GENERAL ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that His Majesty's Justice of the Peace for the
Borough of Dover, in the County of Kent, have appointed the GENERAL ANNUAL
LICENSING MEETING & SPECIAL SESSIONS, under the Licensing Acts, for the said
Borough and its Liberties, to be holden in the Sessions House of and in the
said Borough, on MONDAY the SECOND DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1942, at the hour of
Twelve noon, for the purpose of granting and renewing Licences and
Certificates for the sale of Intoxicating Liquors; for Granting Billiard
Licences; and for granting and renewing Licences for Public Dancing,
Singing, Music and other Public Entertainment of the like kind.

ANNUAL LICENSING REPORT
Supt. Wheatley, in his annual report, stated that no proceedings had been
instituted for drunkenness. Six licensed houses had closed for the duration
of the war without prejudice to the licensees.
Supt. Cash reported on the Wingham portion of St. Augustine's Division.
All licenses were renewed.

The medicated wine license at 58-59, Biggin Street, was changed from
George Leslie HARBIN, to William John BERRY, director of Messrs. Timothy
White and Taylor Ltd.
