The above two photographs are close-up's of the one above and show the Packet Boat Inn circa 1910. Photos by kind permission of Dover library.

Not to be confused with the other "Packet Boat Inn" and "Packet Boat Hotel", this establishment was found to exist in Barry Smith's records in 1874 in Bulwark Street, and again simply as the "Packet" between 1905 and 1907, although an address was not given I am going to assume it was one and the same as the other establishments were not seen after 1863.

This "Packet Boat Inn" I have a licensee name till 1907, yet the photograph shows the house still advertising the brewers G Beer & Co. and dated 1910, but it is unknown whether they were still serving at this time.
