Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated.

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.

Debi Birkin sasy that the building is now called "Orange Tree Cottage" and is situated on the corner of Rooks Hill and London Road (previously named Camden Hill, Camden Park is on the opposite corner).

The area appears on census returns as Hazleden Common and Camden Hill and was part of the estate belonging to Alexander Luard Wollaston in 1845.

Old maps show Brewer's Wood on the opposite side of Rooks Hill.

The round bulge on the roof of the building suggests that it was once part of an oast house as well.
