54 High Street

I have reference to a "Naval Reserve" but at present no information regarding it. It is suggested it was addressed at 54 High Street, which now (2020) is operating as "Furley Page Solicitors."

However, there most certainly is a "Royal Navy Reserve" addressed as 28-20 High Street, and I am beginning to think that there has been a renumbering of the street and the two are actually the same, in which case this building may not have been a public house at all. It certainly doesn't show as a public house on the 1906 25in/mile OS map.
