Stanhope Road Ashford
Originally called the "Ben Truman" the pub changed name some time between 1975 and 2007 when it was taken over by the popular heavyweight wrestler, Danny Lynch. It was said he was going to name it the Half Nelson, but at the last minute he called it the "Nelson." Unfortunately the pub has closed, date unknown and the building demolished in 2011.
