Park Tavern licensees 1975

Traced as early as 1888 so far and remained as a pub till it became a restaurant. It was operating as a restaurant in 2006. I have also been informed that you can still drink at the bar, but it's rather expensive.

Connected to the former pub is the restaurant now called "Villa Toscana" and I believe it is part of the business.

LICENSING.

At the Faversham Borough Petty Sessions on Wednesday the license of the "Park Tavern," East Street, was transferred from William John Austin Bullen to Sydney Robert Skinner.

 

Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Herald 12 July 1941.

Betty Diana Skinner, daughter of Sydney & Isabella Skinner, of "Park Tavern," Whitstable Road, Faversham, was one of the girl's who obtained a Special Place Scholarship at the William Gibbs School, Faversham.
