Starting life as a small bar in the basement of the building and called the "Amber Bar." This changed name soon after Prince Harry was born in 1984, and was named after him. I am informed that it was the then licensee, Brian Dresh that was responsible for the name change in 1987. Peter Osbourne says the following:- Peter Osborne and Ron White bought the Prince Harry in 1987 from Brian Dresh. John Stewart ran it from 1987 to 1990. Peter Osborne ran it from 1990 for 16 years to 2006 when he left for Spain.
