22 Church Street Upper Walmer Deal
Named after the wife of King William IV and to whom the Capital City of South Australia is also named. It is said she was in Deal in 1818 when on her way to see her future husband, then the Duke of Clarence. Locally this was known as "The Hut," for some reason.
This pub has been referred to as simply the "Adelaide" in many of the directories and census. The pub unfortunately closed on 8 March 1913. At its close it was being supplied by Phillips of Malling. It is now a private house and listed building.
