South Pier Dover
Another with this sign was reported to have changed its title in 1814 to the "Jolly Sailor". William Mulland kept a "Three Brothers" at the South Pier in 1823 and Chapman kept "The Brothers" in 1805, I am not certain whether there was a connection, they may have been the same premises for all I know. For photo of Pier District click here.
I think this once sold was the end of this one as a licensed premises as no reference has been found after 1824.
