Aiden Walters writes to tell me the following:- I can tell you that some of my great uncles, who were nephews of Mary Clifford whose married name was Harris, worked in the "Bickley Hotel" as young men. All are now deceased, but told of a secret entrance to Chiselhurst caves from within the pub.

The above photo belonged to Mary's grandmother, also named Mary Clifford I believe.
