Cricketers darts 1994

Above photo, 1994, showing the dart team after a 24 hour marathon to raise funds for a kids charity. Showing Bud Flanagan, Dennis Beaton, Steve Cook, Misky Malcolm Plant. Not sure who is who though and one missing name.

 

In 1869-70 the pub was part of a consortium who were advertising their goods of selling tea in response to grocers' selling beer and wine. (Click for further details.) In the above advert this pub was identified as the "Three Cricketer's".

A the end it was a Punch Tavern owned premises who sold it on 16 May 2007.

By 2019 the pub had closed and a change of use had been implemented to a residential hostel run by Homeless Care Ltd.

Looks like it sold for £550,000 on 26 August 2021. Going to be converted into flats, so another one lost forever.
