Rainham

The Rainham Poor Book of 1766 makes reference to a John Wakeley:- Spent at the "George." Passing my Accounts £1.

I have also seen reference from vestry meetings written in the Gillingham Chronicles by a Mr. Baldwin that mentions the "George" in Moor Street as early as 1770.
