I believe that this must have had this name for a short time between 1992 and 1996 and either side of it it was called the "Ewe and Lamb." Local knowledge required thanks.

The same chain also had the "Hooden Horse" at Great Chart, the "Hooden on the Water," at Ashford and the "Grand Old Hooden Horse" at Cranbrook.

I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.
