ROLVENDEN.

A sad accident, resulting in death, took place at Rolvenden on Monday.

A horse, attached to a cart, standing in the back premises of the "Ewe and Lamb," being left for a few moments by the driver, started off, and, unfortunately, knocked, down a woman who chanced to be passing. She was removed to her own home, and partially rallied, but in the course of the afternoon symptoms of compression of the brain set in, from the effect of which she died next day.
