John Burles later moved onto the "White Hart" in Blackheath where is wife is seen to be licensee.

 

From the Borough of Greenwich Free Press, 11 March 1865.

An inquest was held at the "White Hart," Lewisham, on Monday, before Mr. Carttar, on the body of Mr. S. Stone, age 72, who died suddenly in the High Road, Lee, a few days previously.

He was conveyed to his home at the "Greyhound," beer shop.

The jury returned a verdict of died from natural causes.
