PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest 1624

Half Moon and Stars

Latest 1721

High Street

Gravesend

This pub has been recorded as being in the High Street, but with no exact address, so that could indicate that the pub has been renamed or that the records are incorrect or incomplete.

I also have reference to a "Half Moon" addressed as 12-13 Bentley Street"

Possibly on the site of the once Woolworth Stores and listed as being on a corner near to the "Three Fleur De Luces."

I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Gravesend, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation. Every email is answered and all information referenced to the supplier.

This page will be updated as soon as further information is found.
