Wilmington. Fire.

On Tuesday at 4 a.m., the "Plough" public house at Wilmington, was discovered on fire, that Mr. J. Wilkinson the landlord, was awakened by the smell of smoke, and on going downstairs he found the kitchen all in flames. He immediately gave the alarm, and got the inmates out. The house, stock-in-trade, and nearly all the furniture was totally destroyed. The origin of the fire, no doubt, was caused from a copper flu, which was very foul, and having a large fire there the day previous, on account of the club fete. The property is insured in the Kent and Sun offices.
