The original building was replaced for another with the same name on the same site in 1927.

John McDonnell set up a brewery in the cellar from October 1983 but moved this to the "Antigallican" in  Charlton in 1985.

I am informed that the pub was closed by 2014, and was converted into supermarket.

Above advert, 1985. The Queen Victoria now produces Country Bitter (1036) McDonnells Sidekick Bitter (1047) and McDonnell Winter Ale (1054) using malt extract.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Woolwich, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.
