I believe there have been several pubs with this name and that not being local I may have the dates and licensees wrong. Local knowledge required here please.

Licensing day.

The following persons have given notice of their intention to apply for spirit licences at the adjournment day.

Thomas Daniel Coleman, Ravensbourne Place, to be called the "Ravensbourne Arms;"

APPLICATIONS FOR SPIRIT LICENSES.

The following applications will be made for licenses at the Special Sessions to be holden on the 25th day of September, inst.:—

Greenwich.

Malster; "Gloucester Coffee House;"

"Robin Hood and Little John;"

"Banshee;"

"Ravensbourne Arms;" (Lewisham)

"Royal Albert;"

"British Oak;"

and "Royal William."

TRANSFER OF LICENCES. Sept 25.

Present - Sir T. M. Wilson, Bart., chairman; General Angerstein, Captain Hossett, Al;derman Eagleton, T. Lewin, Esq., J. Sutton, Esq., and Coles Chile, Esq.

This being the annual licensing day for the hundreds of Blackheath, and Little and Lessness, there was an unusually large attendance of applicants for spirit licences, numbering 60; of which Greenwich numbered 9; Saint Nicholas, Deptford, 1; Saint Paul, Deptford, 6; Lewisham, 4; Lee, 1; Charlton, 1; Woolwich, 20; and Plumstead, 14.

Mr. Bristow supported the application of Mr. Hollebon Spencer, "Ravensbourne Arms," Albion street, and Mr. James opposed. Licence refused.
