The pub closed, date unknown and has gone through as series or transformations as different restaurants over the time, it being the Embassy in 2012, the Z'bra in 2015 and the D'Luxx from November 2015 onwards.

APPLICATIONS FOR SPIRIT LICENSES.

The following applications will be made for licenses at the Special Sessions to be holden on the 25th day of September, inst.:—

Greenwich.

Malster; "Gloucester Coffee House;"

"Robin Hood and Little John;"

"Banshee;"

"Ravensbourne Arms;" (Lewisham)

"Royal Albert;"

"British Oak;"

and "Royal William."

TRANSFER OF LICENCES. Sept 25.

Present - Sir T. M. Wilson, Bart., chairman; General Angerstein, Captain Hossett, Al;derman Eagleton, T. Lewin, Esq., J. Sutton, Esq., and Coles Chile, Esq.

This being the annual licensing day for the hundreds of Blackheath, and Little and Lessness, there was an unusually large attendance of applicants for spirit licences, numbering 60; of which Greenwich numbered 9; Saint Nicholas, Deptford, 1; Saint Paul, Deptford, 6; Lewisham, 4; Lee, 1; Charlton, 1; Woolwich, 20; and Plumstead, 14.

Mr. Lewis appeared on behalf of Mr. Chillman Avery, "Royal Albert," Blackheath road, and Mr. Bristow opposed. License refused.
