The persons, left to right are. My brother Edwin Miller. My Mother, May Miller. I do not know the names of the two ladies, but, the gentleman at the far right was the pub "Potman" He was responsible for all the odd jobs need in the background to keep the pub working, like the heating boilers, mending pipes etc. He had the wonderful name of Stanley Grimes and I remember him well.

 

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

The pub was owned by Copes Taverns Ltd around 1944
