17 Frindsbury Road Strood
This was mentioned in a book called the "History of Strood" by Henry Smetham, published 1899 who says it was situated on the north-west end of Frindsbury Road. When the original "Cobham Inn" burnt down in the High Street, the license was transferred to this pub and I believe the name changed shortly after to the "New Cobham Inn." Unfortunately I do not yet know when this happened.
Local knowledge, further pictures, and licensee information would be appreciated. I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from. All emails are answered.
