Five Licences Transferred.

The "Castle," Richard-street;

"George the Fourth," King-street;

"Crown and Mason’s Arms," Cannon-row;

The "Steam Packet," Bellwater-gate;

The "Anchor and Hope," River side, Charlton.

 

Kentish Mercury, Friday 1 May 1885.

John Price, 53, Beresford Street, Woolwich, was summoned for obtaining refreshments at the "Steam Packet" public house, by false pretences. Prisoner obtained refreshment on Sunday by stating that he was a traveller, but Sergeant Gilham recognised him as living in the next Street.

Fined 10s. and costs.
