BANKRUPT.

Edward Clifford, Minster, Kent, Victualler.

From an email received 21 October 2015.

Dear Paul,

The only information I have about Edward Clifford has been gleaned from other census returns and I know from the next census in 1851 that he was working as a wheelwright in High Street, Minster. By 1861 he was in Streatham with his wife and children, still working as a wheelwright, also in 1871 and 1881. It seems the change of occupation suited him. He died in Streatham in 1893, aged 81.

Lesley Hopkins.
